Banco Inter SA is a mid-sized Brazilian bank, backed by SoftBank, that has created a unique offering with its new app that launched yesterday; it will offer direct access to more than 60 retail stores including Alibaba’s AliExpress, Nike, HP and Carrefour Brasil; the bank will share a portion of commissions from the third party vendors with its clients in the form of cash-back rebates; CEO Joao Vitor Menin said, “A bank’s app is one that people use more recurrently. So we believe clients will buy products and services through Inter’s app. It will prove to be easier.” Source
