The Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) has released their new report called the U.S. Financial Health Pulse. The goal of the report is to offer an ongoing snapshot of how Americans manage their finances, along with actionable insights to improve their financial health. It is the result of a survey of more than 5,000 Americans. They found that 28% of Americans are considered financially healthy, 55% are financial coping and 17% are financially vulnerable. CFSI intends to repeat this survey every year. Source.
