Coinbase Opens in Dublin as they Look to Scale Up and Minimize Brexit
U.S. based Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has now opened a Dublin office as they look to scale operations in Europe and minimize the potential of Brexit; “Ireland does offer us a home in a post-Brexit scenario,” Zeeshan Feroz, the chief executive of Coinbase’s UK division, told the FT. “It could serve as our gateway in the future . . . we’re planning for all eventualities.”; while the company scouted other European locations they settled on Dublin because of talent and low taxes for the emerging technology community; Coinbase still plans to have their London based office serve as they head of their European operations.
